Carmen Chan Carstoryworld

Co-authored Series | New Non-Human Association

Featuring Carmen’s story “Ozhuoer, the Killer King”

First written in the 1980s, Ni Kuang’s Non-Human Society series takes readers on extraordinary adventures across time and place. Inspired by his invitation to keep the stories going, twelve members of the Hong Kong Novel Association bring fresh perspectives to his imaginative world.

Writing across genres including fantasy, martial arts, romance and historical fiction, each author contributes a new short story. Some also introduce characters from their own books, creating unexpected encounters with Ni Kuang’s original creations.

With support from the Hong Kong Comics and Animation Federation, twelve Hong Kong comic artists each illustrate a story in The New Non-Human Society, bringing this collaboration to life.
